Toqio Design Studio (TDS) is the central platform for building, customising, and managing embedded financial solutions. Designed for agility and scalability, TDS allows Toqio customers and their partners to orchestrate multi-provider financial products, configure user journeys, and integrate business logic using a combination of no-code and low-code tools.

Whether launching ready-to-use solutions using Toqio solution templates or developing tailored solutions from the ground up, TDS enables customers to create financial propositions that are contextually relevant, technically robust, and fully brandable.

What is Toqio Design Studio?

Toqio Design Studio is a modular product development environment that offers a complete set of tools for managing solutions, configuring customer portals, integrating third-party providers, and extending product capabilities through low-code workflows.

By subscribing to a TDS licence, customers can:

• Launch one or more Solutions tailored to specific merchant segments
• Install and customise apps from the App Marketplace
• Configure portals (Merchant and Backoffice)
• Extend or replace default journeys using Toqio Workflows
• Integrate with new financial or compliance providers via the Developer Hub

Each solution comes with its own Merchant Portal (Web,Mobile) and Backoffice Portal (Web only), giving businesses full control over their user-facing and internal operations.

App Marketplace

Browse and install apps across three categories:

• Financial Apps – Accounts, Cards, Payments, Lending, PoS and Insurance capabilities, powered by trusted financial providers such as Modulr, Railsr, ClearBank, Divilo, Airwallex and others.
• Functional Apps – Enable essential journeys like managing teams and working with expenses.
• Power Apps – Extend your platform with third-party integrations like Intercom (support), Looker (analytics), and MeaWallet (Apple/Google Pay provisioning).

Configuration Tools

TDS supports a flexible configuration experience:

• No-code: Configure app products, UI text, menu settings and roles.
• Low-code (via Toqio Workflows): Create workflow apps leveraging pre-built templates, APIs, and UI components to integrate them into the existing user flows of your solutions.

Toqio Workflows (Low-Code Studio)

The Workflows Hub empowers Customer Admins to create and manage their own workflow apps (“My Apps”) using Toqio's low-code toolkit:

• Browser Utility Library – Navigation, encryption, and data handling methods
